Three victories and a runner-up finish from four starts: Sir Heartbreaker has made an impressive introduction to racing under saddle.
Known at home as Harri, this five-year-old trotter was already performing well in harness. When his team tried him in monté, however, they noticed something different.
Monté is a form of trotting race in which the horse carries a rider instead of pulling a sulky. For Harri, the switch seems to have brought out a particular enthusiasm for racing.

His groom, Annika, has noticed how differently he accelerates with a rider:
“He enjoys it so much and picks up speed in a completely different way compared with racing in harness.”
His early results tell an exciting story: three first-place finishes and one second place in just four monté races.
Alongside this new chapter, Harri has continued his daily feeding routine, which has included EquiNectar since the end of last year.
For his team, it is especially rewarding to watch him discover a racing discipline he appears to enjoy so much. His willingness under saddle and promising results have made these first few races a pleasure to follow.
Congratulations to Harri and everyone involved in his care. We wish them every success as they prepare for their next races.
