This is Granit, a 6-year-old show jumper trained and competed by Jill Borgström. Since early June, Granit has been getting EquiNectar as part of his daily feed, and over the past few months Jill has noticed several positive changes.
When Granit started on EquiNectar, he was a little thin and needed to put on some weight. His manure had a sharp, unpleasant odor. Granit's hooves were also a bit misshapen.
Since then, things have moved in the right direction. Granit has put on noticeably better condition, and the strong odor from his manure is gone, it's now completely normal.
"The hooves have come along nicely too. They've improved so much that the farrier actually complimented them, which of course feels great," says Jill.
For a young show jumper like Granit, building a solid foundation for the future matters. The fact that he's now carrying better weight and has healthy hooves is a big plus as he continues training and developing toward competition. On top of that, his coat has gotten that EquiNectar shine.
And Granit isn't the only one of Jill's horses on EquiNectar — several more have started the supplement, so it'll be exciting to track their progress too. We'll share an update this fall!
