"Meet my daughter's gorgeous little 6-year-old racehorse, Mabel. Despite her impressive bloodlines, she was too slow and too little for National Hunt Racing, and it is only because of the kindness, experience and dedication of a wonderful natural horsemanship trainer that Mabel is here today. Eight months on and through a friend we discovered Mabel was ready to find her forever home and we made the journey from Aberdeen to the Borders to meet her. My daughter just fell in love with her and on a snowy February evening the Eric Gillie lorry delivered her into our lives.

For Mabel, this must have been incredibly unsettling. Her race training life had not been easy and then this wonderful human gave her this second chance and now she was gone. Life to her must have seemed incredibly confusing and scary again (and very cold!!).

Having had horses with ulcers, I knew just how quickly they can emerge and the impact they can have on behaviour. I also have gone down the scoping/omeprazole route in the past and six months later I faced the same issues...

I was literally about to call the vet as she was showing signs of gut discomfort and losing condition (despite all the feed I was pumping into her) when EquiNectar popped up on my social media. I called Ben who was so knowledgeable and reassuring.

A week after taking EquiNectar we started to see a change in our mare. The anxiety and restlessness settled and her 'worried' eye had softened. Six months on and my daughter's little mare is thriving. Her playful little character makes us laugh every day and her condition is incredible. She is out 24/7 and now has a scoop of her fibre balancer in the morning and EquiNectar in the evening.

I can't recommend this product highly enough. Mabel has found her home for life and, thanks in no small part to this wonderful product, my daughter has found her best friend.

Thank you so much. She will be on EquiNectar for life."

Claire, Mabel's owner
